good day! good happy day! i am over the moon excited to share this wedding being featured today on the oh so lovely style me pretty blog! katherine & brian's wedding was a true southern affair filled with personal details & everything that makes you feel warm & loved. the location was at an old dairy barn in south carolina. and to say i loved it would not even give enough credit to how amazing it really was. katherine was a dream bride to work with & really gave me freedom to photograph her wedding story as i saw it unfolding. the event & floral design was so insanely beautiful & i couldn't recommend the team from ta-da’s floral design and event planning – jan puckett, jenny puckett & lauren sheehan enough! they perfectly executed katherine & brian's vision for their wedding & jaw's were dropping as guests arrived at the dairy barn. the barn's windmill served as the main inspiration for all of the paper goods & stationery & the food was so delicious! in the end, there is nothing i love more than walking away from a wedding feeling like i became friends with the bride and groom over the course of their planning and wedding day. katherine & brian i am so, so happy for you both & wish you a lifetime of happiness together! |

i heart california. and on a perfect day, in southern california, lindsay and tony got married. i kept catching my breath as the sun got lower and lower beneath the gigantic canyon where the wedding was. in fact, lost canyons golf club was one of the most beautiful locations i have ever seen for a wedding. and the light, oh the perfect light. i was on my tiptoes with excitement over it. lindsay and tony have one of those easy kind of loves that just draws you in. they were naturally lost in each other the entire day & it made photographing them even better. i also had the privilege of having two incredible young photographers from california come shoot the wedding with me! kenzie and lauren were so much fun to have around and i was blown away by their professionalism & pure joy over photography. i just know that the industry can be on the look out for these two amazing girls and i can't wait to see where their passion takes them! we got to end our night at in-n-out burger and it was all purely divine :) now, onto this southern california wedding that makes my heart skip a beat... |

i loved megan from the minute i walked into the getting ready room where i found her smiling with her mom & bridesmaids. even though we hadn't met face to face until this moment i felt completely at ease around her. everything about megan is happy & sweet. when we talked the week of her wedding she said that photos that showed laughter and real love were the most important to her. i couldn't have agreed more. megan and reid are just the most adorable couple & their wedding celebrated everything that has brought them to this point in their lives together. they are adventurous, caring & committed and i heard guests say more than once that the wedding was perfectly "them". how amazing. megan & reid, here is to more laughter as you grow old together! xo
