i've been dying for christie and brian's wedding to get here & on saturday, it finally did! they are such genuine, good-hearted people and together, they make an amazing couple! while i'm processing images from their wedding early this week, i wanted to go ahead and post christie's bridal session that we shot at a luxury condo high rise that her dad built in uptown charlotte! it is simply amazing and i love all the architectural details! there was still lots of construction going on, but of course, it made it all the more beautiful to me :) enjoy a peek at her bridals...

adam and kelli are basically as much fun as a couple can get! when i asked them how long they had been together and kelli told me two years, i sort of laughed to myself. kelli asked me why i did that and i told her that they seem like they have been together so much longer than two years! they have a comfort with each other that makes other people feel at home being around them. its so easy to see that they are in love & their relationship has been strengthened by distance and learning how to communicate while being apart. to say that we laughed a lot during this amazing photo session on the lake is an understatement. we braved some extreme exotic wildlife conditions to take these photos on a deserted island on lake norman & we may or may not have had to walk over dead bird legs that fell from the tree's above us. ;) hope you enjoy these favorites...

happy summer-filled friday! my little guy is most delighted by being outside & moving, so what better way to accommodate him than his big sister driving him around in her mustang convertible? if he's happy, i'm happy :)
speaking of delightful, i am shooting christie and brian's fabulous wedding tomorrow and i can't wait to share {& reveal some bridal's from christie's blow-you-away photographs}. i have more fun sessions to blog as well & a spa day wrap up from this past weekend! lots of yummy goodies to come... |

you surely can remember dinika from her couture bridal session but you have never seen kevin on my blog before. well, you've never seen his face, that is! you have, however, seen the amazing video he created to give my clients a glimpse into what its like to work with smitten photography! if you haven't gotten to watch the experience, click here to check it out! kevin and i met while he was shooting video and i was photographing kelli & charlie's wedding a couple of years ago. we decided that when it came time for me to make a business promo that he would create it for me & that i would photograph his wedding whenever the day came. well, it came!! last sunday, in the midst of a downpour in downtown greenville, south carolina, kevin and dinika shared one of the most heartfelt wedding ceremonies i have ever witnessed! they certainly didn't let the weather put any damper on their joy as they became husband and wife & it was beautiful to listen as their friends and family toasted to their unique bond and deep commitment for each other. i know they will continue to bless the lives of so many people with their creativity and passion for giving. congratulations dinika and kevin!! i hope hawaii is perfectly wonderful & that you enjoy a glimpse back at your perfect day! |
